Hi MX5 aficionados,
I came across this little beauty while on holiday in New Zealand. It belonged to the owner of the airbnb we were staying in.
I’m new to the scene , but am i right in thinking that this may be a 1999 special edition?
The owner was completely oblivious to its significance.
Looks like a Japanese specification V-Special. Not particularly significant. Basically top of the range in the catalogue.
And presumably also oblivious to the existence of car cleaning products

Those headlamps will take some polishing, unless it’s just dust.
Must be like me, then.
It did look a little forelorn and in need of some tlc, but it did run very sweetly.
