What the plug for, arrowed in picture, its located on the boot bonnet. It leads to two connectors and a 5amp fuse, thats connected to nothing.
Looks like it’s been added in. It looks as though the conduit has been split to run it then taped back up. Who knows what it was for…
Looks like it’s wired in proper doesn’t look like its been added.
It’s for the brake light in the Mazda accessory removable boot rack.

Fair enough, I just looked at the bolt with the paint missing and the loose tape and assumed it was added
