Had the MK3 a few weeks now & thinking of getting it lowered with the Eibach Lowering Kit & full Alignment. As I live in The Highlands near inverness & did not really want to drive all the way to WIM or Nigel langs (although I will if need be and make a few days of it).
Does anyone know of a place in Scotland that I could trust with my new car and that will do a good a job as the 2 mentioned above?

There’s also Dreadnought in Callander (although their customer service can be somewhat rubbish from reports I’ve heard) and ProGrip in Bonnybridge (who come very well recommended) - although both are a bit of a trail for you. Try posting on the Scottish forum (from the link above) and see if anyone suggests anywhere else.
CLCM in Edinburgh (Sighthill) is very highly regarded by all - Willie was who Glenvaragil (Ferrari, Maseratti & Porsche) used when they were in Colinton Road.
Excellent guy, really knows his stuff and will be happy to help.

Bridgend Garage in MacDuff and GT Tyres in Forres both have a good rep and are not too far from you. I will be trying out Bridgend myself in the not too distant future.
It was neither personal experience nor a rumour. Was a report from a (very) trusted source - someone who has nothing to gain (or lose) by sharing this information. I was merely doing the same - sorry but I thought this was what these kind of forums were best used for - sharing information to help fellow owners?
