  1. My model of MX-5 is: __nd2
  2. I’m based near: chard
  3. I’m looking for technical help or recommendations on: __ can someone tell me if I am correct about wheel offset my car has 17 inch wheels and a 45 offset. does the 45 mean mm if so if I put on 17 inch wheels on with a 30 offset will the wheel stick out 15mm further thanks

You have to be mindful of backspacing at well. I fitted ET35 15" wheels to a Mk1 with 1.8 brakes. The wheel barrel kissed the front calipers.
