I went from Oswestry to Aberystwyth via Newtown and Llangurig, came back via Machynlleth and Dylife . Glorious run. Came face to face with a beautiful yellow Mk1 by a cattle grid just outside Machynlleth. Frantic waves from both sides. Are you a member?
Galeso.
I went to work Later went home via the scenic route
Home from work, country route option 3, sound track by good win racing
from stoke through warslow and longnor into Buxton. Lovely day
How to make a 40 minute journey last 2 hours…do the opposite of what the sat nav says… now have a sunburnt nose and cheeks…worth the pain…hell yes
Peterborough to Stevenage but by all the B Roads including one of Evo’s favourite stretches of the B660 A BMW decided to join in out of one of the villages, was right on my arse for the first straight, nowhere to be seen after the first set of corners
I did thirty miles up to Sheringham in Norfolk to do a turn as a signalman on the North Norfolk Railway. Where did I park my five? Next to Thomas the Tank Engine! Honestly.
Didn’t take the daily drive - drove from Bedford to Bishops Stortford A600 / A507 ( Baldock Pass) and back, great fun and glorious sunshine!
Very, very happy with my fab Sport Recaro!
just drove out & about. brilliant
funny how, looking on line just now, how the forum just seems to shut down all day when the sun is out
Coming to the end of a wonderful week in the 5, which started last weekend joining SE members at Magnificent Motors Eastbourne, and was rounded off today with a long top down drive in glorious sunshine and a picnic at Beachy Head
Yesterday (more room on the roads weekdays) in the Peak District. Took the back roads to Beeley via Carsington, MiddletonTop and Via Gellia nice clear twisty B roads most of the way. Only blot on all that a transit van, yes a transit van trying to keep up with me on the twisty bits, guess who backed off (or back out of keeping up with me).
Anyways we walked all over Chatsworth Estate and Beeley Moor around 8 miles, lovely day not too hot, just right.
We parked next to the church and you can see the hills in the background, called in at the house which in my opinion is the best view in Derbyshire, as taken by me in the picture below.
Nice drive to New Brighton for lunch.
First long drive in the recently purchased NC, route was as follows: Bewdley - Ludlow - Richards Castle - Shobdon - Presteigne - Bleddfa - Rhayader - Elan Valley Dams - Cwmystwyth - Tregaron.
Started tipping it down over the cwmystwyth mountain road so top had to be put up :(, and no pictures as I was busy driving. Looking forward to the run back tomorrow via the Abergwesym Mountain Road and Brianne Dam though. Hope it’s a sunny day!!!
Another great Shelsley Walsh breakfast club this morning.

My first run out with the Norfolk Fives this morning, then to the beach this afternoon. First time I’ve taken the other half out in the ND for a long run
Around the peak district over to Bakewell Buxton then up and over the cat and fiddle, saw a fair few MX’s and convertibles didn’t notice any roofs up.
Great day to be out in the sun with a convertible today
We went to church today, well in fact 21 of them on the Eastern Region Steeple chase…
