Was out and about locally in the “5” this afternoon, and stumbled upon “The Car Crowd Cafe” near Newark. I knew of the place but hadn’t been there before - and it’s less than 10 minutes from me
Was near closing time being a Sunday, but looks like Phil makes a good coffee, so will go back soon

Off to MOT test just.
It’s 17th.
107,000 miles.

I’m having them do the oil & filter as well, brake bleed, and gearbox oil.
Although it’s only done about 3k over 3 years (Cov-id etc) it’s still 3 years old oil…
No Siree Bob…not on my watch.

Pass!
Phew!
She’s a good lass she is.
No rot, bust bits we all know eg drop links.
No advisories.
Mind you, only done 1100 miles since last MOT
Been doing a good bit of fussing over her for a few weeks now the heart meds are building me up better.
Look after your 5 properly… she’ll (or he) will look after you.

I believe a celebration Glencoe/ Speyside Italian Tune up with E5 & Forte fuel Conditioner beckons…such is the rumour.

Wot you fink?

Nowhere really - just a few errands around town, but the thing I particularly love about driving the MX-5 is that I feel inclined to dive off down little lanes I’ve driven past for nigh on 30 years of “normal” car ownership.

It helps when the weather’s like this, I guess

Went through Glenshee in the Cairngorms, best road I’ve seen.

A few weeks ago now, shouldn’t do but wishing for some dark clouds and cooler temps shown here. Near the York’s Cumbria border.
