Don’t have any pics of the car there but zoomed down to Severn Beach overlooking the Severn Estuary to watch the sun set.
Happy memories of biking there in my student days and sometimes catching the ferry across to wild Welsh roads.
Then the bridge was opened and the magic evaporated.
Nice! I love a short ferry trip so if there still was one I’d take it, would make Wales seem more ‘exotic’
. Will have to waiting until I am up on the west coast of Scotland this year for ferry fun.
If you want a good old fashioned ferry then have a trip on this MV Glenachulish - Glenelg-Skye Ferry It is absolutely fantastic in all respects.

I’ve been on this ferry more times than I can count, its my preferred way of getting to Skye in fact. Going back I’ll use the Bridge though!

. Mine is on standard suspension, it was absolutely fine even this loaded up, still a comfy ride and seemed to handle ok - I mean I wasn’t tearing up the roads, just touring around.
Just driven back to Edinburgh from Warrington today after picking up my MX5 today!
Weather wasn’t great but managed to get the top down for a fair bit of the journey before hitting torrential rain as I crossed the border! Great drive in the new motor though!
Finished the drive (over 2 days) from Dorset to Aberdeenshire after picking up this…
A more detailed first impressions of the ND3 thread to come in the next few days.
Colour looks great, is it a similar blue colour to the NC Niseko, it looks silver blue?
It’s Aero Grey, one of the looks different depending on the light colours.
Drive down to Tern Hill with the Cheshire and North Wales group, for fish and chips. A lovely summers evening for a drive
Thanks to John G for organising!
That looks a delightful road! Whereabouts in North Wales is it?
