Today was the first event I’ve been to since owning my MX-5… Went to the Classic Car and Motorbike Show at Thoresby Park in Nottinghamshire… It started off quite cloudy and cool, but wasn’t long before it was sunny and very warm…!

Went for a run to Aberfoyle, Callander via some of our Lochs.
Had a great day. Left at 8am and back in at 6pm…

Just back from a weekend trip to Applecross, having driven the Bealach Na Ba road for the first time. We decided to drive home via Inverness and Perth to avoid the busy roads near Loch Lomond and took the opportunity before leaving Applecross to get some photographs in the valley.

Took myself off to Rousse slipway for a swim (Guernsey). Felt cold though the sea is apparently reaching the heady heights of 13 degrees C. Still wore my neoprene trousers and gloves though …

Sounds good Sarah! I did see on a weather forecast today that despite the warmth of the sun inland, sea temperatures remain cool at this time of the year…! How warm does the water get as we go in to Summer?

Sea temp can go up to 18/19 degrees in Guernsey in September - which is when I started swimming last year and have managed to go most days since.

Run out to Llandudno today, not as sunny as yesterday but still a great day. Avoided the A55 there and back and found some nice Welsh roads I had never been down before.
Managed a two for two wave backs from fellow MX5 drivers, red NC and Soul Red ND 
Did a stop off on the way back in Rhos-on-Sea where the picture was taken

Is it me or is that front tyre on incorrectly? I know some tyres can be fitted anyway around, but it looks incorrect to me. I know I have made a comment like this before on another post - not sure if it is the same tyre on the same car? Its just something I look for…
