I can not find my tow hook hah… Had the car couple of years, never needing it. I know where the jack is in the back of the boot compartment, but I can’t find the hook anywhere?

Is it in the black pouch along with the wheel wrench?
And where is the black pouch kept? I haven’t seen it.

Mine is kept with the jack, right side of the boot behind that little flap.
Of course it could be missing, have a poke around in there. The panels do detach, held in place with pop out plastic rivets.
Mine’s in the black vinyl pouch, which is fastened via the fabric loops provided to the bottom of the plastic panel inside the boot, behind the number plate - that’s where it was when I bought the car which is an NC2, 2012.
As Mick says though, perhaps yours might be with the jack?

Yep! Same on my ND’s.
You can squeeze all that equipment into the rear right, there is a plastic access panel, you can squeeze it all in there. So saves space in the boot.

I’m pretty sure the RX8 tow hook is the same as the one for the MX5. Possibly the same as some others as well - eBay
