Where to buy PCV valve for a MK3??

I’ve ordered one from mx5parts but it said ‘due in 4 or more weeks’ a month ago, and still does.

Unless im blind Google is failing me.

Anyone know where else I can get this apparently rare part?

A Mazda dealer? Although I suspect that their lead time on the part will be similar to mx5parts.

You will find these available in the US which may work out quicker for you.

Why are you replacing - a swine of a job and not one to be entertained unless you are 100% sure it is the only problem.

I’ve never bought parts direct from a dealer, do I just give any old Mazda garage a ring and ask? (Sorry for ignorant question), but yes I’d assume same lead time as it’s a Mazda part. Maybe they lost the mould

Yes a horrible job that I’m not looking forward to, but it’s looking like the most likely candidate for where all my oil is going, especially after having had a look at the throttle body.

Any pointers as to where to source one from the US? I suspect it might be expensive though.

Yes, just call in or phone your nearest dealer.

I’d personally suspect the oil is going past the piston rings before suspecting the PCV valve.

Ok thanks I’ll make some calls on Tuesday.

That is certainly another possibility, but that’s a bigger issue so I’d like to start somewhere (a bit more…) optimistic

It’s ticked over 100k so replacing the PCV doesn’t seem like the craziest idea in the world either way, assuming I can get hold of one!

I agree with Robbie although no pleasure in doing so on this occasion.

These people will ship to you in the UK. Part is in stock but you have to go through the entire order process and get a personalised quote for delivery to to UK.

Probably other suppliers around just look up ‘Miata NC PCV valve’ - they don’t use MX5.
