Where's my old car; J485 GAL Red Eunos Roadster

DVLA has this on SORN since 2012, so probably someone is stripping it for parts. Would be keen to find out what happened to it since I sold it in 2005. J485 JAL, formally SAZ9961, was a great car. It was absolutely mint in 2005; new hood, new Mk2 15" wheels, satin black camcover, 6 point rollbar. If you now have its wheels, let me know.

According to the goverment MOT ap,she is still going.in 2015 had a engine change after clocking up 249,000miles.Cheers.

According to the government MOT app, J485GAL was last MOT’d in 2011, 117k miles on the clock, which is odd, because it had 140,000 miles+ when I sold it in 2005. Although it has been sorned since 2012, I assume its now in a pile of bits. It went unused from 2009-2011

SAZ9961 is of course still ok, because its on my drive, but the MOT station messed up on the last certificate odometer reading, leaving out a number. The car is on about 260k kms right now. The engine was changed a few years back in 2008. I transferred the plates when I sold the red car. Present SAZ9961 is a blue car.

Resuscitating this. After I thought the old red car was now scrap, it seems after 5 years storage, it was put back on the road, and is still on the road, albeit after someone had to spend a bit on fixing the rear sills.

Which is pleasing to know. Looks like it changed hands last August. Glad to see someone is continuing to enjoy the car, and its had a new lease of life.

Distinctive features of the car when I last saw it:

Satin black windscreen surround
Satin black cam cover
“Unleaded Only” US speedometer
Mk2 15" wheels.
Home made vacuum gauge and voltmeter install
6-point rollbar.

Had some sort of closure
