I own an mk3.5 61 plate roadster coupe sport tech
The Eibach springs on mx5parts are
Mk3 30mm front 25mm rear
And
Mk3.5 35mm from and rear
As this is the folding hard top as there is extra weight in the back ? I’m all confused :S

I have a RC Sports Tech 2012 and fitted mazdas own eibach lowering springs.(30mm) These are for either the rag top or The RC.
They are on offer at the moment.http://www.everythingmazda.co.uk/lowering-springs-pid283.html The mazda part no is 410077779.
There are springs I believe that have been produced specifically for the RC, but I read mixed reviews on them. Also because my RC was/still under warranty I went for the Mazda/Eibach springs. Paul Roddison fitted mine and did the geo and did an excellent job.
Is it these ones ? Eibach 35mm Sports Spring Set, MX5 Mk3.5/3.75 – MX5 Parts
The only mk3.5 springs mx5parts sell is 35mm
Do you have to acquire them from MX5 parts ?
Well I’ve purchased the mk3.5 springs (35mm) from them , they arrived today, but then I’m hearing that the mk3 30mm/25mm are better because of the extra weight in the back because of the folding hardtop, so I’m now all confused on what to do
Yes mine are black
Sorry Paul what is your drop 30mm or 35mm ?
I went for the Mazda/eibach lowering springs not only because of my warranty issue but I had read on various forums that a lot of owners had fitted them had the geo done and were very happy with the this spring set up. I can only agree.
sent you a pm
I haven’t received anything Paul ?
It’s just come through
Hi Paul, how has the ride quality changed since fitting the shorter springs?
