I didn’t want to start 2 separate threads so I put here my 2 questions.
Maybe some of you know which glue is OK to stick one of that fabric stripes above my head to the roof inside (soft top of course) ?
And second, where can I buy that kind of bolts like are used to seats mounting ? I want to raise a little bit my seat but I need longer bolts. Forgive my ignorance if it is obvious, but so far I couldn’t find that kind of store (online or real).
I will leave the glue to others.
It is a Japanese standard (dimensions) flanged bolt with an integral 24mm diamter flanged washer on it.
Specification
M10 diameter
1.25mm pitch that is a fine pitch in DIN bolts.
14mm AF spanner size bolt head
The threaded length is 20mm with a 3mm unthreaded tip at 9mm diameter.
Material grade 8.8, do not use stainless, they should not be used on a car.
It is easier to pick up DIN (dimensions) metric bolts in the UK
The (DIN) standard dimensions tend to be 15mm AF acrose the bolt flats that is not a problem.
As the seat bolts are fine pitch they will be a bit more expensive as fewer suppliers stock them.
This one on ebay below comes with a washer which is handy as the original bolt has a built in washer and the linked one does not, therefore that sorts that problem.
I will leave you to look for a better price.
