A front spring on my 97 mk1 1.8 has broken. I want to replace them with as close to OEM. I’m looking at either mx5parts or autolink. Does anyone have experience of the quality of either, the autolink standard ones seem slightly lowered?

Hi there, I have ‘Autolink’ springs and genuine Mazda shocks on our 1990 1.6. Find the ride very good. Only issue is the car will occasionally bottom out, but don’t think that is the fault of the springs. Think it’s more a mix of relatively soft suspension with short travel and occansional poor roads
I believe OEM Roadster coils are shorter than the more “jacked up” UK spec cars of certain years if I understood Andrew@ Autolink correctly. Probably best call him…he’s always very helpful.
