A wave from a black NC (but not the NC shortly after) and later an ND on the A140 in Suffolk this afternoon and to complete things a headlight salute from an NA rolling home.

Red ND in a queue waiting to get on to the Batchworth Roundabout, Black NC coming from Aston Clinton towards Tring, a dark possibly black NB and another Black NC coming from the direction of the Kimbles towards Wendover. All waved back, all had their soft tops up !

The hard top came off today and I had my first top down drive of the year.
A very nice chap in a silver NB travelling in the opposite direction gave me a wave between Aubourn and South Hykeham.
He was the only MX-5 I saw during an hour long loop so that’s 100% hit rate

There was a 16 plate grey mk4 on the m25 who i saw around Heathrow way who i drove with to the a1 junction and then straight after there was a grey mk2
