Who did you wave to today!

Yesterday, or 2 days ago (time passes so quickly during Cartmel race weekends!), I got a wave from our local soul red ND owner (he is from Ulverston I believe).
Dude, I hope you saw me wave back!
For the first time ever, my car was shinier than yours!
I was the guy in the Copper Red NC with the roof down in the rain, not the Copper Red NC at the Shell garage…
And yesterday I got a wave from a grey softtop NC who had never waved at me before. It took me a second to wave back…
How nice.

That’s a coincidence, I was in Cartmel, on the Friday though, a rather dirty soul red ND, we travelled from Ulverston. I got a wave from an NC that day, maybe around that area it was, not sure?

Yes I do like a big smile too !

I saw 3 lovely 5s today - trouble was I was in the Renault Zoe and had to resist the urge to wave - I did smile - they probably thought who the heck is that smiling inanely - what am I to do, I can’t help it :musical_note: :musical_note:

Happy cars!! :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

At this time of year the 5’s are out in force around here.
I use mine all year round, but I am no longer the only Copper red hardtop around, so who knows if it was me you saw.
I work in Cartmel.

Red Mk4 coming off M25 at J18, white Mk4 behind me on the Hemel Hempstead Road going into Watford.

So muscle memory had made me wave to a passing 5 when I’m in a different car :man_shrugging:

Tapps down as they say in Scoatland

Only day I’ve not driven the MX for some time. Telly screen failed and I had to get another one before wifey got homicidal. It had to 40” and that with the attendant cardboard is not going into an mx, even with roof down. Fortunately didn’t see anything I might have waved at.
Bought a cheapo for the price of the fags herself smokes in a month(£180). Exactly the same spec but LG was half as much again with half the warranty!
And if you wanted the OLED goodness that’s a huge leap in price for good blacks. Every time we replace the tv screen it’s half the price and better viewing. Some things aren’t going to the dogs😀

Wave returned today! Beverley run! Also nice chat with a lady who bought a NC 4 weeks agi!

If he’s on here. SA17 white MX, M6 towards Carlisle. Lots of fecking traffic for no reason.

We waved. :joy:

Waved to a red ND on the A595. Waved back.

Waved to a dark blue NC in Macduff and got a wave back.

Waved to a red NC/ND on the B5289 by derwentwater. Got a wave back.

Tried to wave to two NB 55 plates heading southbound on the M6 as they passed me.

This morning exchanged waves with a couple of very dark Mk3s one coming out of a very misty Porlock while I was driving in and t’other vice versa on the other side this morning.

This afternoon exchanged waves with a white Mk3 on the A358 as it was headed towards Taunton.

Finally this evening coming out of Tetbury exchanged flashes with a S2000 that I mistook for an NBFL, his was naturally bigger than mine

We had some very enthusiastic waving and light flashing from a couple in another Soul red ND, just coming out of Kings Newton, South Derbyshire this morning.

Also later in the day a wave from an NC this time, Copper red I think in Zouch, Leicestershire.

Out with visiting niece for early evening drive and I mentioned the subject of the :waving_hand: and within minutes of setting off got a :waving_hand: from Soul Red ND then on last couple of miles home from a black NA…
Result!

I waved at my wife who was walking home with 2 full bags shopping. In any case, I was travelling in the oppo direction. She was only 2 minutes from our front gate…so I let her get on with her heroic efforts, and I had suggested she take the wheeled shopping buggy. However, I was treated to some Radio Silence later. So, a home delivery of her favourite Afghan Chicken and Garlic Nan with Special Fried Rice sorta fixed things. Happy Wife…happy life.
