Exchanged waves with a Niseko coming the other way on Borde Hill Lane as we were leaving the superb Borde Hill Gardens
Exchange of nods with a red MR2 T Bar at traffic lights. Both of us topless of course.

On my way back south today i had the pleasure of driving a good 15 or 20 miles with another grey nc on the southbound a1 between Leeming bar and Thirsk, wondering if its anyone on here the reg VU15 DXJ
P.s i was the guy in the grey nc with the blackc wing on the back if it was someone on here
Waved at a couple in an Orange ND on the Southport coast road.

Took a trip down to Lyme Regis on Sunday as it’s only about 50 miles from us. Of the six Mx-5’s we encountered we only had the one wave back. The saving grace was the chap working in the petrol station we stopped at commented on how lovely our car looked!

Mixed success on the wave front again these last few days.
My local Soul Red soft-top ND pal did wave back.
A silver NC did too.
But dark blue NC, electric (?) blue NC, chavved up NB, and Soul Red RF did not.
All these on the A590 between Ulverston and Haverthwaite.
I did however have a surprise chat with a couple in Preston last week, outside my friends’ house. They were admiring Nugget, and said they had an ND 1.5 themselves.
We were all happy owners, my friends were a bit envious.
Got a nice wave from a lovely young lady driving a pink NA, in Thetford. Made the day for a middle aged bloke🤣

Two attractive young blondes in an immaculate pink NC U-turning from my left saw me, but carefully ignored us (I could see their lips moving, “Who’s he waving to?”) when I was turning right at the same big gap in the carriageway.
Never mind what they thought of me, I still appreciated the view; brief moments such as that are essential parts of the exquisite tapestry of life.
And my Precious was soon fed with more jungle juice, 35mpg that tankful, mostly motorway.
I was still happy when we got home again, ahead of the rain.

I saw 3 nc’s in succession in stortford today, a bright blue one which i think had bbr down the sides, hadd a wave back then there was another a few seconds later with a lady driver and then another a minute later with an older chap driver all waved back with a smile
No wave from an NB, a solid couple of waves from two ND’s out in North Norfolk.
Two waves from the only two MX’s we saw this morning.
