I have been at the bottom of the garden and I seem to be getting good at being a carpenter/landscape gardener/general dogsbody…
Managed to put this up over the last couple of weekends, prepared the ground first, moved many large bags of bark/gravel and planted quite a few plants etc. Still got a bit more to do yet, including getting a bit more furniture - my wife fancies a hanging “egg” chair. Oh and I had to pay for it as well!!
When finished planting (its a bit early yet), will be a nice sun trap as there will not really be any foreign holidays this year (unless you count Scotland - fingers crossed!)…

Well, I’ve had my charcoals out this afternoon. Not done any sketching for a few months due to too many commitments. I’d given up for quite a long time, but during Covid I bought myself some new materials that I’d never tried before and it kicked my enthusiasm for drawing back into gear.
Not so happy with this afternoon’s effort so far, though. Need to hone my eye again

Fancy building one for me when you’ve finished??
Nah, looks brilliant, pal!
That looks wicked, great job!
There are so many amazing photographs in that thread.
Here is my bird feeder I built that lifts in and out of the fire pit I made. (This was also posted in the Garden Bar thread). The wooden circle, which was added later was to stop the squirrels climbing up… it didn’t work
