hahahahaha. You daft 'appeth!
Had a similar one today. The boss was driving mine (sorry, as she now insists “ours”) back after picking up the ratty old polo we’d left overnight at a Christmas do. Damn, that was one pretty looking car I was following (and the bird driving was giving me the “come on” too!).
Parked mine (MK 1) up to go shopping today, I must have turned round about 10 times on my way into the shopping centre to admire it!
sure it wasnt to make sure it hadnt been nicked!!!..lol
Hi came through S-O-T today in black MK1 on A34 and A500 kept me head down gotta hard top on.
hope no-one saw me Nice and cosy though

Hi “benboy”
Ref: “Lights left on”
I only did it three times (Darft or what) then I was directed to look on ebay by a fellow member (Thanks Kev). He told me to look for a “Lights On” buzzer kit in the Mazda MX5 parts section.
Having found it for just £3.99 I purchased a “Lights On” Buzzer kit for a Mk1 MX5
Now never leave my lights on!
I works every time Great!
I have nothing to do with this Kit I only mention it as it was the best £3.99 I have ever spent!
Regards JulianHJT
£3.99? that’s good! Is it easy to fit?
Hi Ben
No problem only took my “Man” a few mins. (I don’t do electrics)
FULL FITTING KIT IN THE BOX
It’s all to do with fitting the buzzer in the fuse box.
The one under the dash by your right knee. Just above the important peddle!
Give it a go you won’t be dissapointed

Hi Ben
Just been on ebay and they are still on sale @ £3.99
Sorry mate forgot all of £0.98 Postage to add
Hope this is not too much of a problem.
STILL A REAL BARGIN!!!
Regards Julian
I’ve ordered one!
In this weather I’ve been leaving my lights flipped up so I don’t damage frozen light motors, so there’s no reminder.
I can never resist a sneaky peek back at car just to check she`s OK. so do light motors freeze ? I try not to use car on salty roads
Hi Ben
Let me know what you think of it when you have fitted it.
Happy Christmas & Safe New 2011
Regards Julian
PM sent
Easy to fit, once you’ve got to the fuse box. Works Well! Thanks
