I’m lucky with the roadster coupe, haven’t got the special closer thingy so I can lid up or down on the move but it’s no real inconvenience to pull over for 12 seconds.
I enjoy night time driving with the roof down, heated seats on, blowers on max hot.
Inspiring stuff.
I had a lovely drive home tonight with the roof down in the dark - seats and heaters on 
We have our top down as much as possible. 
I don’t life having the roof off - I’ve mentioned it before in this thread. However I left the hard top off and had an excellent drive last weekend with nothing above me but sky and roll cage.
The improve rear visibility helped me win an autotest (although I did get covered in bits of melted tyre).
