Why you need to go to Blyton 2015.

Do you love driving your MX-5?

Yes, of course, we all do.

But have you really driven it?
Do you really know how well they handle and how much fun an MX-5 can really be when pushed?

Well, if you’ve not driven your 5 off the public highway and on track then the answer is probably NO!

But the Owners Club have the solution, it’s called “Back to Blyton 2015” The MX-5 Owners Club very own annual track weekend, with sessions for all drivers, all levels of experience, from the absolute novice, to those with more experience who already know how an MX-5 really can be driven.

It’s our unique annual opportunity as Club Members to really drive our 5s, all in the company of fellow 5 enthusiasts.

And not forgetting full support from our friends the Mazdamenders in the unlikely event your car needs a bit of attention.

Don’t miss out, take the plunge, you have nothing to lose and the best driving experience is guaranteed, get your tickets now!

Will do, can I buy track tickets on the day or do I need to order them now, I’d like to try my little 1.6 on the track.

Don’t wait! You really need to buy those tickets now, as no guarantee at all there will be spaces left on the day… Go on, you won’t be disappointed…

Am I correct and thinking entrance and camping is free  it’s just track tickets you need to purchase.

Entrance free, camping free (for OC members), FUN is also free!

Don’t delay - do it today; before tickets are all gone.

1st year I viewed only.

2nd year I did novice Saturday session only.

3rd year (this year) I’m doing Sat afternoon and all day Sunday , sharing with another driver.

Blyton is a compact track, easy to ‘learn’ nice and technical, super-safe for first time track experience.

Etiquette of others drivers is impeccable, very courteous, and because the event is “MX-5 only”, you’re not going to get bullied off the track by any turbo-charged F!-wannabees.

Whole event supported by guys like Mazda-Mender who will solve technical problems should any arise.

You WILL enjoy it!

It’s done and dusted, Saturday ticket is ordered, thanks guys

nice one, see you there…

hi, I’m bringing my wife and son, my wife and son are meeting me there, how much will it be for a ticket for entry for them. I’m the only one who has a track ticket for me and my little mx5 phoenix

No entrance fee for them - they’ll be very welcomed!

My boy always gets a passenger wristband and jumps into the ‘real’ race-cars after I’ve bored him with my “daddy-speeds”.  The Max5 guys are there all day and during afternoon session, they’re happy to have passengers… one your boy has been in with them, he’ll want you to buy him his own MX.

I recommend you also have a go with the Max5’ers in the afternoon… you’ll not believe what they can do, and it’s a great way to pick up extra tips on how to drive the cars, and how to enjoy the track even more.

Look forward to seeing you there!

That sounds amazing advice, I’m going to do that, afternoon being boggled by the amazing mx5, will also get myself a wrist band for the afternoon. Thank you for the advice.

So who else out there is umming and ahhing about whether to take your MX-5 to Blyton or not? Come on, own up, and let us persuade you to go for it…

Garry and I are bringing a car each this year, our stripped out, track prepped silver MK1 and my slightly modded daily MK1, should be interesting swapping between the two…

We’ve been to all of the Blyton events since the first one, I really can’t recommend it enough to anyone whether you’ve done track days before or not.

Anyone is welcome to hop in for some passenger laps with me if you want. All you have to do is ask nicely!

And to all the ladies out there, for goodness sake, have a go! Yes, it’s scary - that’s half the fun!
