Will a cut in a rear lower control arm be an MOT failure?

I’ve had to cut into the bottom of my rear lower control arm as the lower shock bolt is causing problems. Will this likely fail an MOT?

Depending on the severity/depth of the cut might not only be an mot failure but also dangerous to drive.
