I’m looking to buy a hardtop for my eunos roadster and have come across a few for sale adverts of a hardtop that says for a mk2.5 but then some posts say that their hardtop is for a mk1 mk2 and mk2.5. So would a mk2.5 hardtop fit ?

Yes, but the wiring for the rear demist will be on the opposite side from the Mk1.

Ah ok thank you, do you know if it is possible to make a small connector or if there is anywhere I can buy one ?

Yes, there is nothing off the shelf. You will have to make a wiring harness. I suggest you make sure the seller suplies the wiring harness because that will be half the job. If your car is a 1991 or later, it will have a connector behind the passenger seat, but it won’t be live as you need to add a switch and relay. If a 1990 car, it won’t be pre-wired.

I can confirm as we had a Mk1 and kept the hardtop which then fitted our Mk2.5. …but the original screen heater cable did not fit so we just didn’t bother connecting it.
It’s on the same side, just a different connector.
