they are for sale off a 2004 mx5 will they fit a mk1 thanks

The side not seen has a triangular plate: On a Mk2 there are 2 holes to fix it. Only I there on the Mk1 (with tenax stud in it) so 1 hole to drill each side
Hi richard they fit like a glove and all the holes lined up nice no drilling, Also used the two bolts which tonue cover clips onto, So that still fits around these bars i had to take off my old windblocker which was a fixed one, So i have to find out now which ones fit them not sure if i need the small one which fits in the front like the soundboard ones
