wind deflector

Hi lovely people,

I have a Eunos Roadster mk1 and have bought a mk2 folding  wind deflector, which after reading stuff on this forum, I understand should fit my mk1.

What I would like to know is exactly how to fit it, in girly terms…seeing as I am a girl.  Photos greatly appreciated as to exactly where it actually fits onto as I don’t want to get cross trying to do it myself.   Yes I do have a drill if necessary.

No technical language as remember I’m a girl…who just happens to have great taste!

Thanks for reading!

Place it in position and you will see the bolt holes align. Some cars  have plastic pop out thingy that has the threads underneath for the wind deflector.Basically sit it in position and all will be obvious

Some MK’1 don’t have the second hole.

The lower fixing is to the tennax bolt where the tonneau attaches. The bolt can be undone and removed and the blocker put in place. Put the tennax bolt through the lower hole in the blocker and tighten (same on both sides).

However, it may be necessary to drill a hole for the top fixing. It is fairly obvious where the blocker should sit and this will allow you to mark the upper bolt hole.

Remove the blocker again and drill the two marked holes. Probably a 6mm/8mm hole will be sufficient. Unless the blocker came with the two top bolts you will need to source 2 with nylock nuts.

From this point it should be easy to refit the blocker to the lower tennax holes (loosely). Line up the upper holes with your newly drilled holes and pop a bolt through on each side. Its a bit fiddly to hold the nylock behind the trim but not impossible.

Tighten everything up.

I hope that helps.

I did it. Its fitted. Thank you for your replies
