Window seal gap and Dinitrol residue

  1. My model of MX-5 is: __ '21 R-Sport
  2. I’m based near: __ Neath, South Wales
  3. I’m looking for technical help or recommendations on: __ window seals… and cleanining Dinitrol residue

Hi all, maybe I’m being ■■■■ but would appreciate peoples input… I spent some time yesterday cleaning the car from top to bottom including the rubber seals throughout and noticed that where the rubber seals are at the top of the windows, there seems to be a slight gap on the drivers side compared to the passenger side. Is this an issue?

Also, this was the first time I’ve been able to clean the car since having it Dinitrol’d. In the engine bay, theres a lot of Dinitrol residue on the brake fluid reservoir and the engine block. What’s the best product to remove it?

I used brakecleaner for removing Dinitrol.

I’d be wary on using brake cleaner on painted surfaces. I had my ND undersealed with Bilt Hamber products and Bilt Hamber themselves recommended the following:

All overspray within the engine bay were dealt with one wipe.

I used White Spirit on mine.
Just change the cleaning cloth regularly.
