Windy Miller's 25th Anniversary Picnic at Heage Windmill Sunday 11th August

Hi Folks

This year being our 25th Birthday of the owners club. We thought we would do something a little different to celebrate this milestone.

We have organised a picnic party at Heage Windmill. Details can be found on their website

It opens at 11am and there will be some availability to visit the mill however tours are restricted to 14 and take an hour. So when you arrive if you want a tour you will need to get booked in quickly so you aren’t disappointed

Heage Windmill have been very helpful and have fit us in but please note the date change from 4th August to 11th August.

We are planning some fun and games and will have a surprise or 2 on the day. So dust off your picnic hampers hopefully the weather will have improved by then. 

So we can let them have an idea of numbers please can you let me know if you are coming along. They are used to large car clubs visiting as you can see from the website.

Although it will be free for us to go along and park up they have asked if we can make a donation which we can discuss at the next meeting. The mill is purely run on donations.

A short run will be organised by Dave Sheratt from The Salt Box Café at Hatton post code DE65PT meeting for breakfast at 9am for 10am departure for a scenic drive to the Windmill. arriving at 11.00am enter the café by station road because of speed humps Or you can just meet us at the Windmill.
