Time to have a Winter sunny shakedown and blow away Covid Cobwebs!
Top down, hat and heater on!
yep, that’s my philosophy as well, my wife and I have both got a couple of winter hats stuffed behind our seats for those crisp sunny winter days, lid down of course
Boz
Way to go.
Even when it’s icy out, with the directional dial on my nc2 on one up from auto, having the heat on max is too much.
No need for gloves either…
I’m new to the MX-5, I can’t imagine having the top up unless it’s raining at the moment and we’ve been lucky in the nearly 3 months we’ve had our ND to not see much rain. Even night driving we keep the top down. We’ve been out around the villages nearby to see Christmas lights at night snd it’s a much better way to see the world.
Dress for it and it’s not a problem.
Loving it.
Top down. Always.
Not seen much sunshine recently in essex, every time I look outside it’s either been raining or the roads are wet and horrible … here’s hoping for a dry tomorrow!
Well!.. I set out today under a clear blue, cloudless East Anglian sky, with the shades on, 'cos it was so sunny, thinking top down and off to the Fens for a run. I popped into the local supermarket for a few essentials, meanwhile the heavens opened - where did that expanse of grey cloud come from…
So home, and leathered off car and put back in the garage. Grrrr!
Best laid plans…
Glad to see you put the leather over it before locking it back in the garage…!
Its surprising how warm it gets in the car with the lid down on a cold winters day, its only the top of my spam head that gets the cold air, hence the Russian hat, I did try telling my wife that baldness was a sign of virility and manliness , but she just laughed , but as an alternative to the fur hat, I’m going to buy a Blonde syrup.
Better luck next time…
I bought a snowboarding jacket in a charity shop yesterday while we were out. Bright orange, much more fun looking than my Peter Storm Millets green winter jacket.
Does it go with your car?!! Sounds really practical - my heater is super efficient, so I sometimes have to stop and shed my jacket.
Sunny here now, but I don’t trust the weather!!
Bright orange and soul red…yes it’s a winner!
Went for a topless drive in the sunshine yesterday - luvverly…
It was dry/sunny here too.
I was playing hymns for Zoom Worship and at Church later, so missed it all.
12 days of Christmas = MX5 out everyday!
Can’t see anyone (outside bubble) or go anywhere, but can drive (though only in my tier area!)
Very sartorial! Good in poor visibility.
