Wiper blades - newer type blades?

  3. I’m looking for technical help or recommendations on:Wiper blades
    Hi all I’m looking for a definitive answer on whether or not you can fit the newer type flat blades on a 2012 NC2 ?
    If so can you recommend any ?

I’ve given up on that type and now use Denso blades on mine.

I use blades, part R45 (both sides) in Halfords, or get cheaper online. No issues.

I changed my MX5 from the “old style” wiper blades this summer, over to Bosch Aerotwin wiper blades (what you’d call “flat” blades, I think?). And I’ve found them to be a huge improvement over the old-style wiper blades. They maintain much better contact with the windscreen, along the full length of the blade.

I fitted Aerotwins on my NC, when I bought it, excellent blades.

Yes, code is AR18U.

18" both sides, so just buy two units. I don’t believe Bosch offer a pair of these together, as typically driver & passenger blade lengths are different sizes.

Currently £18.68 for two delivered, from Carparts in Motion on eBay who I’ve used quite a lot.

The Mx screen is small. I bought replacements from Halfords for about £10. Surprised so cheap and also so effective. Some large screens(CitreonC3) would squeak or judder unless you spent £30 on them.
