The car I’m offering for sale on behalf of a friend is an 1800cc NC 2008 with just under 120,000 miles on the odometer.

It would be a fairly major winter project undertaking, or a useful stock of spare parts. The car is being sold and not as individual parts.
It has the usual rusty rear subframes and what appears to be minor surface rust on the wheel arches. It looks clean underneath, but could do with a good jetwash to remove years of underbody dirt.
It has not been well looked after and there are numerous surface scratches and a slight dent on the passenger door. The driver’s seat would require recovering due to wear to the base and side bolster.
The major problem is that the engine is completely broken due the unnoticed drop in oil level and the end of one of the conrods forced its way through the block or sump, so a good secondhand engine would be required.
