Wrapped my roof!

Took some inspiration from the black editions and had the rood wrapped to match the windscreen surround

Thank you! I was thinking of getting the wheels in gold next. Go for full bling!

A light gold would look great!

Did you have any blistering from the composite underneath. I have just had my roof and rear deck resprayed because of this but the paint shop said they couldn’t guarantee it coming back through so I will have get mine wrapped if it does but I don’t know if it will look weird having the deck wrapped as well?

Leave the wheels as they are and source a factory front splitter instead.

Good job, it looks great

Hey I would love but its riding really low, which is a challenge on these Devon roads already :joy:

Looks so much better :raising_hands:

Thank you!

Hey it’s only a few days old. So far so good. The only imperfections are right at the edges. This isn’t anything to do with the wrap. The black edging that sits around the window is ageing and starting degrade slightly. The wrap is sitting over that so can still see the imperfection if you look closely enough. It’s just the same but much more glossy

Looks good. My NC has the soft top but the windscreen surround is copper red matching the car. I wonder why Mazda never painted it white on your car?

This has been on my list of mods from day one! How much did it cost if you don’t mind? Did you do the mirrors as well or did you just install black ones?

Hey. I think the previous owner had the windscreen surround changed so I inherited like that when I bought it. He’d done a few mods changing the mirrors, the roll over hoops and windscreen surround to black. He also got the stripe added. I really liked what he’d done

Hey. The mirrors were swapped out for black ones. The wrap was £350, was in and out in a morning. So far I’m really pleased with it

Totally worth it, it looks great. I plan to do the same to mine since I couldn’t find a good sports black/kuro edition.

Just to let you know - there was an article in the motoring section of last Saturdays Telegraph about a motorist would had his insurance immediately cancelled after he told the company he had had the roof and mirrors wrapped.
