Yellow Eunos, Porthcawl Prom

Still there now,

Black hard top, roll cage.

Nice example, very clean.

Possibly my mate from work, Idris .I think he has a spoiler fitted on his. bought from here. black/silver alloys.

Clive.

thats the one, nicely polished deep dish alloys - get him on the forum?

I’ve told him - he say’s he’ll take a look.

Yep, that’s me. I bought the car from this site off a guy called Mick from Iver Heath.

I’ll post a photo when I take one.

Nice looking motor mate. Give us a shout next time your coming down on a weekend, I’ll treat to a cup of decent free coffee and some of the bosses cake, if the kids haven’t hoovered it all up!

EDIT Oh aye, and welcome aboard the forum! About ankle deep down here this morning, and blowing up the channel quite well. Glad I didn’t struggle in to work this am, a weekend stuck in the 'Paaaart isn’t my idea of fun.

I’m living in Porthcawl, and I had to struggle to work early saturday morning. Luckily I had a pair of snow socks in the boot of the car (not the mx), slipped them on and went on my merry way. Those socks are pretty damn good, I even managed to get passed a 4x4 that had slid partly into a ditch on Three Step Hill - their faces were a picture when they seen a Fiesta trundling by.

I saw my first pair of snow socks yesterday - damn site easier to handle than snow chains and cause a lot less damage to your car if they come apart! Think I will invest in a few sets for next winter - I’d imagine they are pretty scarce right now.

I had to walk halfway back down three steps on Saturday @ 7am, woman in a Focus doing her best to burn her clutch out. Hopped in and drove it up to my C4 Picasso at the top! Turns out, she works with my missus who I had just taken to work.

Are you one of the two silver 2.5’s I regularly see on the prom?

No, I’m the bloke with the yellow Eunos Smile

Forgot to say the socks are a doddle to fit. They have as peed limit of 30 mph instead of 15 mph for chains according to Roofbox, where I bought them from. They also said they can be better than chains in certain conditions. The only drawback is you have to take then off when you reach tarmac, or they will wear very quickly. Cost me £57 with postage.

Got a bit crossthreaded iddy, thought you were a different person to the yellow eunos, thought that one was from Ponty! I really should read threads more carefully.

You’ll have to come up the Grove for the next meeting, Weds Jan 12th, 7pm for food, 8pm for meeting, at the Grove. It’s in the dining room on the left side of the clubhouse.
