I know but at least I’ve got the thought of the Mel Gibson performance out of your head.
The ear worm you now have is probably worse.
Sometimes the cure is worse than the disease.
Just discovered our local B&Q are open for business, no more hassle of click n collect.
Think I’ll pass for now, it means creating more DIY jobs not really essential.
This is the problem, I already have an extensive DIY and garden chore list which I am slowly working through in my own time, and all is well, and I can still ponce around with the 5, go on my sons old Xbox, and watch some TV etc as well, but if I come home with tins of emulsion from B&Q, this will upset the delicate balance I have at the moment, because hopefully ,when this nightmare is finally over, and the shops , re open it will be nose to the grindstone again, …well, in between going for blasts in the 5
Boz
Good to hear that Boz, Definitely important to keep the balance and not upset the diy/ taking it easy equilibrium!
Brilliant toasters, and you can get spares for them as well.
“I’m busy doing nothing, working the whole day through, trying to find lots of things not to do!
I’m happy going nowhere, isn’t it just a crime, I’d like to be unhappy but I never do have the time!”
Lyrics by Johnny Burke, Music by Jimmy Van Heusen
From the film “A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur’s Court”
Indolent, entitled yoof of today.
Disgraceful.
I did think about another coat of looking at for the barrow for about 2 secs😁 I’m all out of black paint.
Dum de dum de dum de dum de dum de diddly dee…

Not quite right, it’s more - De dum de dum de dum dum diddly dum de dee
I could agree with you but then we would both be wrong…
I could agree with your disagreement but Bing (on an LP as I posted) would disagree.
I’m sorry Roger but I beg to differ. You are definitely wrong…
And so am I. The official lyrics are -
La-la-la-la-la-la
La-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la
La-la-la-la-la-la
La-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la
Are you sure? That looks like the title theme to “The Archers - an everyday story of country folk”
Yep! I totally forgot to put the “La la’s” in before the “De dum,.”. Sorry!
I immediately thought of this tune, my era and listened to this stuff😀
I’m gonna sing this to my wife, while I’m on the XBOX, but still seriously thinking about decorating the hallway.
Dont you bliidy dare.
Traitor to The Cause!
Small Faces - "Lazy Sunday " - loved it! Lots of “La de da de da , la de da de dumdies”
Great lyrics too:-
“I’ll give you a song with no words and no tune,
To sing in the khazi while you snuff out the moon”
They don’t write songs like that anymore!
