What are other members thoughts on the ‘cherry red’ soft top available on the Z Sport variant?
Not sure if I like it, but have only seen press photos.

I saw one and sat in one in the Anglesey dealership, its a nice car but not for me. They had that, a black one and a white RF, I’d rather take my Recaro home over all of them.
Like the roof a lot but coupled with the cream interior it just doesn’t look somehow ‘right’ to me. Maybe if Mazda had a stone grey leather, like in the original Z-sport, that would have worked better
I think in Japan, for the special edition there, they teamed it with the red leather interior and it was also available in white. The red leather is the colour combo I’d have gone with if I’d been Mazda UK.
It’s good to see Mazda offering differing options in roof colour with ‘caramel’ now about to be made available. They just need to wake up and smell the coffee (no pun intended!).
They have dropped the baton with the Mk4, it’s about time they gave us some gr8 original paint colours such as we had on the original Z-sport. God knows the car deserves it
Saw one out near Ufton that also had decals on the side - looked lovely - couldn’t catch it in my hire car (Nissan Qashqai) then it turned of in a different direction
I agree with Wolves the red grey combo wth black leather grey or matching deep red would work but not sand! Caramel roof on a BRG car sand leather may work as a special but not my cup of tea!
How about a blue hood Mazda?
I don’t think it works well with the grey body, would suit better on black or white body colour.
The brown roof in Japan, we will probably see that over here soon, it looks good with red body.
I nearly bought one, but didnt like the black BBS alloys
I also dont agree with sand not working with the grey…I bought a Sport Nav in that colour combo, because i think it does…and with the red roof on the ZSport
Not keen on the colour combo on the ND ZSport. Not a patch on the NC ZSport.
When the hood colour becomes available on an option for standard cars I think it would look really good on the standard white colour. Save your money by not going for a metallic and spend the extra on the cherry red hood.
There is a soft top Merc in my area with the same combo and it looks gorgeous.
