Hi All
As we had not originally planned to do a run in February, we have just had a bit of a recki today, to try to re-visit a run from the past, some 8 years ago, and due to road changes, new roads, islands etc, it just did not seem to flow, or seem interesting enough.
So we have had to go back to the drawing board and due to the weather etc and short lead time, just want to gage some interest?
Thinking of starting a short run from St Joseph’s Tea Rooms, Copt Oak with Tea/Coffee and a bacon butty? Please let us know if you would require a bacon butty, so that we can negotiate a price with Nathan.
The rest will be a bit of a mystery tour, but will try to organise Sunday lunch in the afternoon.
Please just add your name to the thread, so that we have a rough idea of numbers to work on. To book Sunday Lunch and we will endeavour to keep you updated.
Regards
David and Ann
Hi All
Firstly we have now completed our first ‘recki’ run from St Joseph’s leaving at approximately 11am after coffee/tea and butties. (Bacon butty/roll + tea or regular coffee, £5.00). Speciality coffee’s etc will be a bit more.
We plan a short run of approximately one hour and then a toilet stop for approximately 20 to 30 minutes and another run of approximately one hour, finishing at The Beeches Restaurant Ashby de La Zouche for a Carvery at 2pm.
We have managed to secure 30 seats, 28 have already now been taken, so just 2 more left.
Anyone else after this will be on a reserve list or welcome to join the run, but unfortunately we have no more seats for lunch at Beeches available for our party.
We have booked a carvery, anyone wanting anything other than the Carvery will have to check their on line menu and let us know what you want as we will have to inform them before hand.
Thank you
David and Ann
Barry and Geraldine would like to join us too, so that makes 30 seats for Sunday Lunch at 2pm.
So now full for the meal.
Anyone else wishing to join the run are welcome, but unfortunately the restaurant has no more room for us for a meal.
Regards
David and Ann
