BBS wheels
I’m thinking about upgrading the wheels on my ND2 and I’ve got my eye on BBS alloys. I know BBS makes a few different styles, and I’ve seen great photos of ND2s running them, but I’m a bit stuck on exactly which model they are.
Can anyone tell me
What’s the name of the BBS wheels that Mazda fit to the ND2 and whereabouts is a good place to source them?
Post #2 in the below thread shows the two types (they look very similar to the ‘untrained’ eye)
The first one (part number) 9965 98 7070 are the forged BBS alloys you see on most ND’s with factory BBS wheels (RF launch etd; current Homura, GT sport tech from a few years ago etc). These are pretty expensive- an easy £700 a wheel. Try calling your Mazda dealer parts dept for a price idea
The second version (part number NA1V-V3-810 ) in the photo in post #2 in the link above, are the BBS alloys off the Z sport special edition, circa 2018 (the cherry top ND in machine grey).
These are a LOT cheaper in price. About £250 an alloy. The part number is under the pic.
Here they are from another site:
The second one in the pic in the above link,
Brilliant, thanks — much appreciated! I’ve just recovered from the price shock ![]()
I know. I think I’d be having the paramedics around for anxiety attacks leading up to tyre fitting day, having a tyre ‘fitter’ display his ‘skill’ on 4 of those. Could you imagine checking those out and seeing 4 scratched up and the potential bill!
A bad tyre fitter is the stuff of nightmares..Still, I do like the wheels ![]()
The BBS alloys (17”) are cheaper than the 16” standard black alloys, go figure??
