Can anyone help with wiring instructions for the brake light on the carrier. I have only been able to find instructions for MX5 NC1 whereas mine is a NC3.
I thought it is the same rack for all soft top NC’s and hence the same wiring.
What problem are you having?
I have the genuine Mazda rack for the Mk3 but the instructions as such are for the Mk1. The wiring doesn’t look the same as in the Mk1 instructions.

Are you fitting the rack to a soft top or a PRHT (electrics hard top)?
Where you are saying “MK1”, are you referring to a NC1?
Yes the instructions I have are for the NC1 not the Mk1.
Maybe worth contacting parts at your local main dealer to check if the wiring is different for the NC3. On the link below the wiring kit is only listed for the NC1 (MK3) and NC2 (MK3.5).
Thank you, I’ve looked at the wiring kit on the link and I think it’s the same as the one I’ve got. It’s probably me not feeling confident to do the job- the car is going in for a service, EGR vale problem and MOT this Friday and will ask them to look at it for me.

Had to sort out my EGR valve during the first Covid lockdown. I purchased a complete unit but only changed the electrics. It’s a pain in the the derrière to get too!
