What @Thibor has done here is start a damn good debate. If peopleās opinions differ then pointing out any gaps in the logic of the otherās reasoning is natural. Maybe itās got a bit too heated at times but many of the best do.
I ready the initial post and when it asked for my thoughts I hadnāt really had any. Didnāt think it mattered to be honest. But it got me thinking that maybe it did matter. The more I mulled it over the stronger my thoughts.

Click on that, give the post a title and then enter whatever rubbish comes in to your head. Then just sit back and wait until everyone calls you an idiot and rips your thoughts to shreds.

Comment was very tongue in cheek hence the winking emoji. I know how difficult it is to get a blue badge even for people really struggling with disability. Disabilities arenāt always visible.
If you are entitled to running your car without road tax then I applaud you for your efforts to get what you are entitled too. So happy to have given you a little boost to get over the final hurdle.
An MX-5 isnāt the easiest and most practical car for even the most able bodied members of society. Great that you can make it work for you.

I too get free road tax & a blue badge holder for a few years now. You get kind of used to the accusing looks from folk who consider themselves as self appointed blue badge police. Until very recently you could actually get an mx-5 on the motability scheme, I was going to do this but had less than 12 months to run on my previous pip so didnāt qualify, now that it has renewed they are not on the scheme anymore for some reason.

I made a āNO LICENCE NEEDEDā Declaration, because i dont have a tv, and under that Declaration i am not allowed to use certain online bbc stuff either.
I know im definitely not allowed to use the bbc iplayer. And if i did and was caught i would get prosecuted for watching without a licence.
As to other bbc services i consider it best and safest to just stay off of them.
