Dash cam help

Hi Dave, @Jamesy1 assume you mean which fuse in the fuse box to piggy back onto. These are mostly ignition switched live not permanently live. I’d recommend something like the cigarette lighter accessory, interior light or similar. Something you can live without if blows. On our Golf, I hardwired it via the cigarette lighter fuse. In my Nd i just used the actual cigarette lighter/accessory socket in the passenger footwell.

I’ve just wired one in, use fuse position 2 for your piggy back connection. That’s in the secondary fuse box at the bottom of the passenger A pillar.
