drying towel

any recommendations for drying towels

(where from / price )

I bought the below, not compared it to any others but its excellent and only £2, better than any wash leather ive had and really absorbent

Cant fault it

The last time I went to a rally it rained and all the competition entrants were frantically waving their microfibre cloths around to great effect - very absorbent and no residue.

I don’t think you see anybody with a shammy anymore.

It seems that even the very cheap microfibre products work well but not sure how long they last.

I bought this one Geoff

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B06XYB7HCT/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 about £18.00 delivered.

Only thing is, the dog took a fancy to it as it’s quite big and very soft (the towel, not the dog)

if you keep an eye out you can get them for £7 and they are huge

I bought one from Tesco’s. £7 I think. It is that good I have bought another one!

I buy from these people and have never been disappointed.

Cheap towels are a false economy. The better ones last longer absorb more water and will not mar or swirl your delicate soft Mazda paint.

Always remove the labels before use. Never use fabric softener when washing.

To see if your towel is past it’s best and to test its ability to work without swirling your paint do the CD test. Simply wipe a blank CD with your towel. If it marks it your towel is past it. If not it’s good to go

These are very good.

These are brilliant and a real bargain at £9.99 at Eurocarparts right now. Been using them for a while now. just lint a bit until washed once or twice.

The OP bought these. They are brilliant

Barrie how about using the dog as a drying towel ??

FWIW I just use a wax that can be applied wet. Gets the job done in double quick time. Autoglym aqua wax for those that are interested. I then add a coat of proper wax if I’m feeling shiny
