A great big thank you to all who attended yesterday, we had 8 eastern region cars on track and several people turned up for passenger rides. The aim of the event was to promote MX5 on track and to give people an idea of the fun that can be had with there cars and we definitely achieved that. A big thank you to Eddy for his support in the pits and for passing on his knowledge to drivers, and thank you to Kevin for taking the pictures and posting them. Thanks to John and my mate Bob for there assistance with changing my brake fluid and Ken for the use of his trolley jack.
People are asking when will the next event be! All i can say is have a look at the post for Snetterton track day for the 18th of October, promoted by Fast Eddy’s Cars and posted by Becky, a really good bargain and well worth attending.
Once again a big thank you for all who attended and supported this fantastic day.
I apologies if i have missed any thank you’s to anybody
It was good to see all them 5’s out on track wile i was Marshaling at end of the Runway, you all looked good out there, and thankyou for bringing the good weather with you too, i think its was the first time it was to hot to have a t-shirt under my over alls, i thought Cheryl did well for her first time out at woodbridge.
A big thanks from Lee and Debbie for making us so welcome. It was really good of you guys to take us out on track. I hope to take to the track myself on a future event.
I very much doubt I’ll get a dig in the ribs for going too fast ever again since Deb had that ride with Ken!
Good to get back to Woodbridge after a few years and great company! Here’s a few laps from my rear facing camera featuring a few of the mx-5’s attending!
Check out my couple of laps crunching and missing 3rd gear too many times and having to overtake the Noble M12 in 5th - lol!
Myself and Eddy had great fun on track and really enjoyed the day. What more could you ask for great company, lots of dry weather, and loads of track action.
Thanks again and we look forward to seeing some of you at Snetterton on the 18th Oct.
