They should be, they are generic and fitted in a lot of cars not only Mazda, and also a lot of RX8 is a direct fit in the NC.
The fog lamps themselves are unchanged across all NC versions. Those I took out from my 25AE NC3.75 and from my Niseko NC1 are identical.
Four ways for water to get in,
- via the breather tube, it might be pointing up instead of slightly down
- if the rubber ring-seal between bulb and lamp housing is missing from the bulb,
- if the bulb is loose,
- if the lamp housing is broken.
