IIRC the NC is 5 stud as the underpinnings are RX8, not bespoke like the NA/B/D.

What is going on with the IL motorsports delivery to MX5Parts!!!
the chassis braces where suppossed to be back in stock last friday.
but they were not and theres no update on em.
it wouldnt be bad if not for the fact that i already had to wait almost 3 months for the other ILMotorsport braces to finnally get restocked after they all sold out in the black friday sale!
after 4 months of waiting its getting annoying!
You could ring them for a better idea on availablity.
I’ve got an order to put in but I’m chancing they may have a 10% Easter discount coming up so will hold off.
i wasnt planning to buy anything from them while i save up for the bbr180 package but if they do have a 10% off sale, i might just buy the boot spoiler (that i will be buying at somepoint anyway)early as £35 off isnt to be sneezed at!
hey all.
i need to buy 4 small screws and 4 washers.
they are for fitting a number plate surround.
so i need the exact sizes etc
i will also need some long thin bolts in the comming weeks?
the question is where can i buy individual screws and washers from?
once upon a time we had an locally owned independant hardware shop that sold screws in any size and any amount that you wanted but sadly that shop is now gone
so its chain stores i guess
so who will sell me the correct items?

I usually buy machine bots from ebay tbh, but I’m usually after specialist stuff. The stuff you can find these days available on most hardware shops are chinesium rubbish.
Halfords, Screwfix or any DIY chain will sell them in small packets.
As you are only putting a number plate holder on don’t get too hung up on quality.
Wilkinsons?I was in there this morning and they had quite a good range of screws,washers,etc individually or in small packets.
on a wim i decieded to go and try woodlines in grantham its an old independant supplier of wood.
they have a little shop there and they had a whole range of screws!
tbh quality wasnt the issue, one screw is pretty much the same as the next!
the issue was getting one that was the right length and width with the right size head!
anyway the guy really helped me out and iv got 8 short self tappers with heads big enough but shallow enough that they will do the job nicely

the club magazine arrived this morning 
not sure if we have a dreams thread so il just throw it in here.
so, i had this really weird dream this morning just before i woke up.
i was driving in my mx5 when i turned a corner and saw that there was a Rhinoceros on the side of the road!
i went to drive past the Rhinoceros but as i drove past him he stepped out into the road and deliberatly scratched the side of my mx5 with his nose horn!!!
thats it!
id like to see one of those dream people try to analyze this one and tell me what it means!

MX5PARTS IL MotorSport parts back order!
i know that i am not the only one to have IL motorsports items on back order from MX5PARTS
we have been waiting quite awhile now with no real info!
WELL i spoke to them this moring and was told that they are now expecting it to arrive on the 12 of may!
(it sounded like some ILMS items had come in recently but not enough, not all and certainly not my x brace)
