My name is Gabor and am located in Essex. Finally last week, I have managed to buy my midlife crisis car, a beautiful RF. I have always liked Mazda, used to have 323, 323F and 6 previously, but the MX-5 was always one of my dreams that has just came true! I have some plans with the car such as driving through Europe in the summer and want to go to meetings that you guys organise, but unfortunately I am a bit shy to socialising with people I don’t know. Just a quick question about cars on dispay at events, do you put “normal” cars on display or only tuned/modified ones?

Welcome to the forum. If you come to Austria (only 1000 miles away) please let me know and I will show you around. My RF is white, and I also plan on European trips this summer.
If you have an MX-5 (as you do ) you are welcome to be on display!
Events like JapFest, Silverstone Festival, Spring Rally, National Rally, etc. we display as a club any ANY car is welcome. You will see all sorts, from heavily modified to completely original. The closest we get to controlling what is displayed is when we try and park the cars by generation.
Tl;dr: Yes, we put normal cars on display at events

Events are a great place to start, check your local area section to see if there/where the monthly meeting is.
We also have JapFest at Silverstone on the 23rd of this month that I think there might be tickets for still… @iainf ?
sorry. I have just seen your post. Is there any other options for me to get the ticket quicker than a 2nd class mail? It says it can take 5-7 working days that means I would probably not get the tickets in time. Is there a printable version maybe? Thanks in advance.
