I’ve heard back from Wightlink - if we have over 15 cars travelling by ferry they will offer a 20% discount. So if you booked today, the 7am and 8pm crossings would cost you £45.20 instead of £56.50

However, the price will increase the nearer to the date we get.

I’m just waiting to see how people can book individually as part of that group discount. We need at least 15 cars too, which we don’t currently have.

Note, everyone does not need to be on the same ferry to use the discount, just the same ferry company and the same day.

Davina and I will join this run to the Isle of Wight, if we may. We live about 30 miles from Portsmouth, so await joining instructions - and arrangements for payment, of course!

I have held off booking my return ferry crossing. until I see you post that we have achieved the required 15 cars for this event.

It looks to be going well at present. So, as soon as I see we have achieved the discount, I will book for Serena and I.

Darren is at present working out a time and meet up place on the IOW, and of course a drive round the island to a few points of interest and photo friendly, by the look of the response from both the Solent and South Central region we are very close to the 15 cars needed to to start booking…
