My business partner, who is president of the IOW’s Jaguar Enthusiasts Club, is going to put me in contact with a friend of his who works at Osborne House who helped arrange for them to line up their cars in front of the house for a photo shoot.
I’m going to speak to someone at The Needles landmark attraction too for a similar photo there too.

I guarantee you’ll love the Isle of Wight! I visited in 2007, and when I next visited in 2016 I decided I wanted to live here. In 2017 my girlfriend, her son, and I moved over, and it’s beautiful!

Is the trip open to non MX5 owners, I have a friend who has a Micra convertible and I am trying to get him to buy an MX and am hoping a few trips might do the trick.

DRAFT ITINERARY
0700 Portsmouth WightLink ferry, PO1 2LA.
0800 Arrive Fishbourne ferry, PO33 4EU.
(If anyone is getting later ferries, just meet up with the others when you get onto the island)
0830 Arrive at Appley Beach Cafe, Ryde PO33 1ND (under Three Buoys Restaurant). Drive via A3054. Meet others and enjoy breakfast next to the sandy beach overlooking the Solent.
1000 Arrive at Esplanade, Sandown PO36 8JT to enjoy the pier and seafront. Drive via Brading and Yaverland on A3055.
1200 Leave Sandown for drive along the south coast of the island, through Shanklin, Ventnor and Blackgang and admiring the views of the Channel from the clifftop road Military Road A3055.
1300 Arrive at The Needles Landmark Attraction, PO39 OJD. A good time for some food, too.
1500 Leave The Needles and return along Military Road, and drive via Godshill and Arreton A3020 and A3056.
1600 Arrive at Osborne House, PO32 6JX and (hopefully) line up for group photos.
1900 Leave Osborne to get to Fishbourne in time for 2000 ferry (or earlier if on an earlier ferry)
Hopefully there’ll be photo opportunities at every stop.

I have just reviewed the itinerary and it looks great, many thanks for that.
We are used to full days and being in the Island early, it gives us the opportunity to make the most of our visit.
Also, good to see the numbers getting near the magic 15, in order to get the discount.
