sold for £3252.49 + £300 shipping (which the seller says is the cost of shipping toFrance from Hungary).
So, the auction linked in the first post is a bargain !

We bought my Dad a beautiful pair of tombstone leather seats to replace the tatty cloth seats in his NB for his 80th birthday

£300 on eBay plus a drive to Oxfordshire to pick them up

We did an overnight stay and made a weekend of it. Unfortunately I wasn’t in my MX-5 though

Plenty of leather Recaro seat pairs on Ebay for £400-£500, with some careful measuring you’d shoehorn a good set in with custom made runners. It has been done already on an Mk3 I remember, over in the good old USA, the guy even showed photos of them installed.
