By coincidence only ten minutes ago the laptop’s background music was playing Learning to Fly from Tom Petty’s greatest hits CD
Going through Pink Floyd back catalogue ready for seeing a tribute band on May 2nd. Currently on Wish You Were Here.
Just finished transferring my 1990 CD of Mark Knopfler and Chet Atkins Neck and Neck to laptop for nostalgic listening.
Now playing and I’d forgotten how easy it is on the ear.
And now a 1992 CD The Most of the Animals an early compilation of the original Animals that appeared on cassette before CDs.
Sound is genuine 1960s analogue recording with all its problems and Mono, but the memories of seeing some friends in an early covers band brilliantly playing these hits are flashing up on the insides of my eyelids!
Great cover song and even better brass lines, even though they’re enhanced digitally👍
The only way is down listening to that
Try this then!
This popped up in my playlist while out in the garden yesterday. I forgot how good Chris Cornell was.
Rubbish. Cheer up.
