Music and Song - What are you listening to right now?

For some reason it reminds me a bit of Big Country.

Spent half the afternoon with Vanessa Paradis’ double album Love Songs, on replay.

The piece that taught me how to ‘feel’ music at the tender age of 12. After the shift from hell, I needed something soothing on the soul and it doesn’t get any better than James Horner. A much underrated soundtrack

Great song written by Prince, and sung beautifully by Sinead… Bought it on CD as soon as I first heard it on the radio…!

Love of my life. Freddie/Queen. I watched the Bohemian Rhapsody (again) film yesterday and can’t get the tune out of my head? Beautiful and its also so sad when in conjunction with the back story.

From the “A Night At The Opera” album, my first album which I got for Christmas in 1975… So have enjoyed this song since I was 13 years old, along with the rest of this wonderful LP! :smile:

Beautiful song, 100% agree. So many of their songs proved to be poignant in later years but I think this one’s difficult to beat in some ways;

A beautiful song with such a poignant video, the last Queen video featuring Freddie… The 24th of November this year will be 20 years since his sad parting. :cry:

Fleetwood Mac - Live
I’d forgotten how good Stevie Nicks is live.
Unfortunately many songs take me back to around the time I met my ex in the early eighties. Happy days.
Now being trapped in a second failing marriage I probably shouldn’t be going there…

Agreed. Everyone can take something from those lyrics. Mr May’s guitar work is spot on too. One of their best songs.
