Ha ha ! I came across a mk1 Dakar the other day. Much the same jack-up as the standard NC1. Still can’t fathom why they made the NC1 so leggy as standard.

Haha! I’ve got a 3k ‘06 49k sans rust and it’s a real problem trying to justify spending more when all the basic stuff is sorted. What would a ten grand 3.5 ‘14’ reg add to the mix?

Love what you did with your car. The doorhandles, did you wrap these black ? And did you have to take them of ? If so was this difficult ?

I also have the 20th anniversary and am thinking of making the chrome parts black.

I had it wrapped, the dash panel is the same as the side of the car to follow the colour theme of th 20AE model badge. Also wrapped the door plates




The handles were done in place and not removed
